Fall Saskatchewan Waterfowl Hunts
Saskatchewan in the fall is truly something that every waterfowler has to witness, at least once!
Starting in Early September and running through late October, day-in and day-out we strive to provide a world-class waterfowl hunt like no other.
Most of our goose hunts take place in the morning, with duck and crane hunts in the afternoon (depending on the migration).
If limits or near limits of 2 species are reached during the morning hunt most likely we will opt not to hunt the afternoon. Each day we scout, hard, to give you the best opportunities in the field or water. This is one of the keys to waterfowling success in Canada.
Limits:
- 8 Canada Geese (3 day possession)
- 8 Ducks (3 day possession)
- 20 Snow geese (no possession)
- 5 Sandhill Crane (3 day possession)
*Shooting hours are one half hour before sunrise to one half hour after sunset!

Spring Snow Goose Hunts in Saskatchewan
This area can be amazing in the spring for snow geese. Why? Well first off, it's one of the last areas that birds can heavily feed before they take off for the tundra. This makes the birds very decoyable at this time.
Second, there's next to no hunting pressure up there. When pressure drops, the hunting success just gets better and our snow goose hunts are proof of that.
A typical spring snow goose hunt takes place in a freshly scouted field. We look for the right feeds that are in not only large numbers, but in the right situation for the following day (weather plays a factor in this).
Since there is a limit in Saskatchewan in the spring, we typically only hunt the mornings (unless they don't play nice). Then we will get after them again, if needed.
We scout hard and hunt hard and this is what our clients have come to expect!
Spring Limit:
- 20 snow geese
